Hi Alan,
I've adjusted the belt tension using the factory tool exactly as detailed in the handbook.
At the centre of the belt, the total up and down movement is 30mm.
The length of the adjusting tool at the factory recommended belt tension is 81mm.
I have seen other postings on the forum recommending running with the belt slacker than the factory setting. It's up to you if you do this. In my mind, ignoring Suzuki's setting for belt tension seems like a bad idea.
My belt is set to the factory setting.
